I would like to take the time in thanking all the artists who have helped me out and taken the time to answer my questions. You guys are great. Especially Andy Brase for wishing me a happy birthday randomly on myspace. People don't generally expect professional artists to be responsive and well.. nice. It's comforting to know that you have a willingness to give advice.
I have a new appreciation for art all together. I listened to Zak Smith speak and to quote him, "People like me are only famous to people like you." (p.s check out his work)
But you're still famous. And there's a reason for that.
This also goes for bands like Glitch mob and Welder. i sent them messages asking for permission for the use of their songs for a film and they were not only immediately responsive, but also overly personal and interested. So even if none of the the below mentioned, ever see this journal entry, thank you:

My new drawing teacher for resources, looks like a pirate. And he promised us we would never draw a chair or a bowl of fruit because he thinks it's retarded.

I am now starting a challenge of the week with where we will be exploring a word or subject and then producing digital illustrations every week.
